Tow dolly use
Agree totally with K@E
I've been driving a towncar for a few years. Always 26-27 mpg.

After consulting with Brake Buddy tech support and getting the proper settings, I successfully used the brake buddy on my tow dolly which does not have brakes. 600 miles of travel and no problems whatsoever. This is with the latest Brake Buddy as I traded my old one it.

Richard,

You lost me, did you mean you used the Brake Buddy on your toad successfully? Was the issue before the Brake Buddy setup or the unit itself? Please give a detailed explanation so others that have the older units may know the risks if they exist.
