Good morning I now have a rebuilt tranny but still I shift into 4th gear @ 2400 rpm , let off the tach goes to about 1600rpm at 40 mph as I INCREASE the throttle I get to 2000 rpm but only going 45 mph, that is not fast enough to get back to Canada. Any ideas what is wrong? THIS IS THE EXACT PROBLEM THAT I WENT TO fLORDA Detroit Diesel Allison in Ocala with so I would not go there looking for help.

sure sounds like torque converter to me
