Kris & Tina JonesCoach battery disconnect
Hey, I installed a new disconnect on the Barth a couple months ago and I have been wondering.....When I shut off the disconnect, the light on the pannel dimms out to nothing. This usually takes about 6 seconds. (it does disconnect completely, it just takes a while). The chassis disconnect is immediate and this is the cause for me asking if anyone else has noticed this.

bill hI haven't seen your wiring diagram, but I'd bet a capacitor in the charger/converter is discharging. Or somewhere else, like in a
pi filter.
Pi filters get stuck here and there to help filter out irregularities in DC power or brush noise, etc. Digital electronics, in particular, like
pi filters.
Try disconnecting the output of your converter from the system and doing it again. If that doesn't tell you, remove fuses one at a time until the behavior changes.
