Does anyone have a source for these?

The plastic piece that connects the louvers (sp?) is FUBAR on a few of them, so you can't direct the air very well.

If I remove the two screws, is the thing going to just come out in one piece, or will there be 15 springs behind it, just waiting to jump out and roll under the seats?

This is my 10th post, I'm tingling with anticipation at the prospect of seeing my signature....

They will come out in one piece. Mine were zip tied to the flex duct. I'm not sure where to find them new but they were used on tons of GM cars and trucks, might find them in salvage yard.

Good luck with your search.
Signature should kick in soon...

Those are very common; the Barth and my '87 Ford van (Both dash and rear air) use them. I removed the Ford's rear vents for better air flow, and checked them just now for part numbers or manufacturer name. There was nothing.

The only difference is that the Barth's have 2 mounting holes, the Ford's have 4.

Try here.
