Eliminatethislucite door entry handle
I am looking to buy or make a Lucite handle cover to keep it from getting sun damage. Maybe a Velcro attachment. Anybody do this also?

billyt53I picked up a homemade one at a swap meet in Elkhart. If you can find the stock you can use a heat gun to soften it to where it’s malleable. While you are at it replace the bulbs it the chrome mounts.

I made multiple handles. Gave my extra away. I think that is where BillyT got his! I think he bought it on our fundraiser auction for Barthmobile.com.
Reading your post I think you are looking for a cover? Interesting idea. Only problem I see is retaining moisture. Hiding the beauty also. If someone grabs it could come loose unexpectedly. I have never seen anyone cover theirs. Maybe no one has ever thought of it. Might be the million dollar idea!
Of course after I gave away my extra handles away My 72 broke in half. I just drilled in from both broken ends and joined them with redi rod and epoxy. 72 is my deer camp so it’s just fine.
I have a blue LED in Midnight as I did have in DBarth. I have amber LED in Camp Barth.
Don’t know if you’ll find this helpful but I thought I’d share.
Good job on sizing your picture to the correct size for the site. Thank you
