Windsor DalrympleDo the P-30's have an available aluminum rim?
Any experience with these?
Dave, don't you have a set on yours?
Any negatives, any positives?
I would assume they would assist in mileage, help cool the brakes, and complement steering/handling, as they do in a car.
Who make them and are they a recommended upgrade?
I would be looking to replace my tires in a year or two, probably wait until then..

BarthBluesmobileHi Windsor,
I have no experience with this, but I've read of the products from Alcoa.
Google with "P30" and "Alcoa" brought me these sites:

Dave BowersI have s/s covers but the wheels are steel.
Now the front wheels are the Ellis Safewide Wheels and I don't know if they are steel or aluminum.

The Ellis/Boxer wheels I have seen were chrome plated steel.
