KevinBasement door hooks can scratch paint
I have coated my hooks with shrink tube to keep from scratching the paint.
Or use a can of tool dip you can pick up at all kinds of places. The stuff you can dip the handles of tools to give them a vinyl handle.
Just another option! I had a can so thats what I did.
I even used the stuff to renew the bows on my sunglasses.
