For those who might not know, Kevin came down with Covid 19 about a week and a half ago. I talked to him Monday and while he is still at home, he's a sick guy. But, he's young and tough so the outlook is positive. Please keep him in your prayers

Prayers. That stuff is so unpredictable. We had it last year- I, a hypochondriac that just KNEW I would die- came out with a mild cold like symptoms and a bit of fatigue.
My wife, who didn't believe it was real, and if it was, would be very mild, had every bad symptom in the book, and over a year later is still battling long hauler's syndrome from it, with taste, fatigue and breathing issues.
And both of us are- were- perfectly healthy, if a tad overweight.

The covid is awful, Have had both shots and a booster too. Alas just getting over what I guess is deemed a mild break through case, 3 or 4 days of congestion, cough, running nose, and a mild headache. Still a bit of sniffles hanging on been over a week. The vaccine must have worked better for my spouse she so far is covid free!!

Thank God for giving us mere humans the ability to adapt and use technology to make a vaccine in record time. Now if only everyone who is able would just do the logical thing and get vaccinated and boosted. Do whatever we can to stay well. We have been protecting our children for longer than I can remember. Now if we were all just smart enough to protect ourselves.

I have lost too many who thought it was unnecessary. Or they have become long haulers.

Kevin I hope you are getting better and will fully recover. Hopefully HelenJo was spared.

Kevin,

Sorry to hear of your battle with COVID and very very happy and thankful that you won and are still with us!

I came really close to losing Connie this weekend to non-COVID bacterial pneumonia which is well understood by medical science and highly treatable. We’re so thankful it wasn’t COVID.

Take good care of yourself and wishing you a quick and full recovery.

Wally
