Hi all. Im in San Antonio Texas! I purchased a 25 foot Barth to rehab! Replaced the starter and now he starts right up. Next is the master cylinder. Napa says they can find the part if I have a part number. Anyone out there have a part number? I have yet to find a photo that resembles my boy Barth.

Thanks so much Bob! I have yet to see a photo of a Barth that resembles my Barth. I have no idea if its a regal or breakaway or ? Soon as I am able, I am going to post a photo. Maybe someone out there can tell me what my boy is. He has two doors on the passenger side, no back window. I will check out that site. Leslie

Send us your data tag and we can tell you what you need to know. Barth coaches had at least 5 chassis and 3 engine manufacturers. 25 ft is likely a gas puller but could be GM or Ford Oshkosh made. Good luck with your coach.

Your Barth build number indicates June of 1989, coach #3622, 25 ft, specialty vehicle 25

The VIN # indicates it is a Ford/Oshkosh chassis. We can look that up for more info. Usually have a 460 Ford engine.

Here is discussion on master cylinders, some confusion there. Hope this helps.

Normally the last group in the Barth number is the coach length, followed by a floor plan code (FP1,2 etc) or chassis maker.

S usually means the coach was a custom order, not a "standard" floorplan. These were often used for commercial units, ie libraries, clinics, or law enforcement command centers.

These coaches are orphans among orphans. As much as Barth coaches vary, the specialty vehicles vary more. Many were produced individually.

I am trying to get more info on Oshkosh VIN numbers. So far all I get is 1989 incomplete chassis.

good luck with your coach.

Will do. Just for kicks I went to the John Deere store here in Boerne. Let's just say I got the "deer in the headlight look" .

I'm guessing that you have only a half-bath and NO galley. If so, you have inadequate holding tanks to use the vehicle for camping. Converting it to a MOTORHOME will be a major project

Hi, it was pretty much gutted. Did you get my email? It had sink, frig, vent hood and spots for shower ect. Had one water tank. Yes it's a blank canvas. Might make it a open floor plan. We camp at thousand trails so pretty much they have the basics there.
