I can see where these could be handy little lights for certain places , providing they put out sufficient light .

I like these too but I did not see a mention of how many hours or minutes the batteries would last. Did I miis that?

I have some older ones with a switch and the battery life is quite good but...thinking this would be a great way to illuminate the engine bilge I bought a pack of 4 puck style with a remote control. No good, figure a month with perhaps 3 or 4 5 minute uses and dead batteries. My theory is the control sensor is a constant tiny drain on the batteries. I can't think of a way a motion detector would not be a constant drain.
