Hey Carl... Happy 82nd Birthday you old fart. x20½

12/05/09 Florida GTG

Funny Note: When I was contemplating on going to the GTG in Florida I had several requests for me to stay with different members. Carl was one of the "Request-ees". When I got to Florida, each had asked my why I didn't want to stay in their coach... Carl was no exception. I gave each a funny answer but for a minute I was afraid I had insulted Carl with my "Dry Humor"... That was, until he started to laugh... Then I was afraid I was going to cause a medical condition. Wink

My answer to him... "Because old people smell funny." ROTFLMAO

I just hope I'm at least half as active as Carl is when I start to smell funny too. Big Grin

Cheers Carl, you're a good friend!!! cheers

BTW Carl, make sure you put this on your cake first.

HBD! Carl is the first Barther I met in person, and he set the tone for Barthmobilers, offering me great hospitality and assistance at his Tennessee home!

I sincerely thank you all for your thoughtfullness. I can honestly say age never bothered me till several months ago, when my son turned 60. God has been good to me and I'm enjoying every day and hoping there will be many more to come. Since I don't have the responsibilities of the Tennessee farming, lawn cutting, tree triming, roof climbing and other things that old folks should not do, I'm getting to learn what makes the Barth more like a wife(demanding attention and requiring financial support), I'm not asking for too much but I would like to attend the next GTG in a Regency, so if you really love me send a few winning lottery tickets to Florida...
Love ya all........................
