I'd like to thank the members and administrators of this site who assisted me in my search for a Barth. As of today I am the new owner of a 1985 25' Regal formerly owned by Jakeofmi. It's currently in an RV shop getting some attention so it can make it's 550 mile drive back to its new home in NJ.

The various forums were very helpful and filled with lots of info that helped me learn about not only the coach I bought but also the marque in general.

Congrats on your new Barth! And you're wise to have things checked out before the trip home.

Congrats on your purchase. Thumbs Up

I have removed the info from the "for sale ad".

BTW: I never did get the data tag number from this coach. If you don't mind, could you update the info for us.

Thanks everyone for the welcome and good wishes. I'm sure I'll be bombing the tech section once I get the coach home and start to address some of it's issues. Bill NY, I'll forward a copy of the data tag as well.

Your interior colors are the same as ours. I like the paint job too.

Don't let the fuel levels get less than 1/4 tank on your trip home. If you have any crud in the tanks it could strand you. Do you have 2 tanks or one?

Have fun!

There is only one tank. From reviewing the archives on this site I found that the former owner removed the rear tank because it was leaking.

I don't think everyone had their fingers crossed. Broke down 5 miles into journey. Driver was able to get it started and limped back to shop.
