can anyone tell me how to read the vin # as to what it means and the one riveted on the wall above the drivers seat is different than the one under the hood. is this correct?

On mine, the number on the wall plaque is Barth's serial number. The one under the hood is the Chevrolet chassis vin#.

Hi there, I was just reading about the unit number that you have and the one I'm working on is 9102 3714 pretty close to yours.

Hey zman, have you submitted your data tag number to Nick Cagle for the data tag project? This is our best chance of figuring out the numbering system.
