Jim and TereBreakaway Chassis
Were all Breakaways on a Spartan chassis? I'm thinking that a Breakaway would be a possibility for Tere and I if we could get a later model with low mileage. But, my experience with the 28'ers on a Spartan chassis makes me want to go to a 30'er or even a 32'er.

RustyA couple of "Breakaway XLs" were on Gillig chasses.
AFAIK, all the "real" Breakaways were on Spartan chasses. Having had my 28' for 10 years and 110K miles, I can't say there's anything inherently wrong with that size. The GM/AMG engine has had its share of issues, but all with accessories, not the drivetrain itself.
