Just for fun, if you have a pic of where your Barth is parked right now, how 'bout posting it here?
In your driveway, covered with snow or on the beach in Florida, lets see it.
The view out back where we are is not quite as pictured right now though 'cause it's rainin cats and dogs!

Just finished vacuuming and straightening out the Euro, and Suzie cleaned the fridge,[it got closed, not bad but would have been soon], and ran the Onan for half an hour. A beautiful Florida Sunday morning, 62 degrees, not a cloud in the sky.

Still in AZ, but a little closer to China now.

Sinking deeper with every deluge.

This was a couple of storms ago, so we are a little deeper now.

Yeah, we got the stronger version of the same storm yesterday afternoon and last night. Clear and crisp now.

Looks nice Danny. I just checked the accuwindow here at Pioneeer RV park just north of Phoenix and it says ...Sunny! The rain has gone!
The rains here in the desert are causing things to green up nicely. Soon the desert will be covered in flowers. Our previous post has a pic of our site in December. The pic below with the hot air balloon was taken near the end of January and the second pic was taken about a half hour ago, the desert floor is al green now.

Hi Bill.
Where you at in Az.?
We fell off our levellers during the BIG washdown in January, ... right here on the rv site! We slowly edged forward and they all came partially up together. The pea gravel was so soaked I didn't try to put the levellers down again and so the rear wheels slowly sank into the gravel even though it appears to be compacted. I had to pull the coach ahead a couple of feet to raise the back end.
The NWS is calling for sun and 70s all week. Yeah!

Still north of Quartzsite.

Our front end sank the most, and the wind blew so hard it cracked the timber I had between the bottle jack and the frame rail. A loud crack during a hard, rocking gust at night is very unsettling.

To compensate for the front sinking more than the back, I just deflated both the tag bags and the helper bags on the drive axle. Driving forward was not an option. In fact, it still might not be. I will either dig out or jack up the front to place timbers before attempting. Or just use the 4WD to pull it. It has 12.5 ATs and two lockers, so traction (after airing down) won't be a problem. I doubt the clutch would like the abuse, so will probably use the winch.

I have a pair of 245 70 19.5 tires on order. I expect the wider tread to be useful in this off roading we do. I really scoped out our site, but there was an undetectable tributary that (during the January storm) formed from the wash we are near. It ran right where our front wheels were. The january storm was the worst in two decades or more, so there was no evidence remaining from the last time. Now, every time it rains, the newly-cut tributary runs again. What fun.

We also have a mountain lion that stalks my dog at night and a 4-pack of humungous coyotes that are bold as brass. They walk right through our area, within beer can range. We call them the Rambos. They are big enough to be Mexican wolves, but the ones they introduced are supposed to be at the other end of the state. I wish I had done a better job of looking so I could have done better on the ID. The other coyotes are more normal in size and behavior. (behaviour for you, eh?)

Here's a shot of the sunrise hitting our tilted Barth. Again, taken before the last storm or two.

I thought my pic was accurate if not current, but all that ugly on the bottom of the house is no longer there. Back down in the 50's already, but no rain forcast. Good luck to you travelers, and be safe getting home.

If you've noticed, I've been absent for a few days. With all this global warming I've been busy sunny myself while barbecuing around the Barth. Roll Eyes

Because I had so much free time, I figured I would take down several trees too. Eeker

Bill, throw another icicle on the barbie.

My Barth isn't here (Dec FL GTG), but it's hard to get a photo with StaRV II tucked in among the trees and palmettos:

Here's one of those lines from a movie or something that comes back when seeing this particular grammatical error.
Innocent question; Where'd you go to school at?
Snotty answer; I went to school where they taught us not to end our sentences with a preposition.
Good comeback; Oh. Where'd you go to school at a$$hole?

The rule, properly stated, is:

"Do Not Use a Preposition to End a Sentence With."

A comment on that rule, (misattributed to Churchill) is:

"That is the sort of arrant pedantry up with which I will not put."

That said, I rather like "Where you at?".
