One of the tenets of the Terms of Service is to "Play Nice!"

Barthmobile.com's forums are not the place to engage in sniping at others, nor rudeness, nor condescension.

Several members have been treading near the precipice lately.

Kindly exercise restraint, cordiality, and consideration. Enough said. Thank you.

Freedom of speech on these forums is limited to that couched in temperate terms. This is not a place for unbridled contentiousness.

Agree/disagree all you want, but contain the personal sniping to PMs.

I'm new to this forum, and am becoming infatuated with my Barth. In the six or so months that I've been a member, the tone of post responses has taken a turn for the worse. As a newbie, I find myself second-guessing about posting to the board.

Doing research through historical posts, it seems to me that the board responses didn't have this negative tone quite as much as it does now. It was one of the things that prompted me to sign up.

If someone's post bothers you, ignore it. No snarky response is necessary. If someone's posts continually bother you, "igore" them in your profile.

Thanks for posting this Rusty.

Quinn, I agree. I have been around here since early 2011 and the last six months have seen fewer "how to" and member project threads, and more complaints, etc. It was better in the past.

This thread is proof Rusty has seen it as well. I sincerely hope we do not lose any one due to this foolish behavior.

Just remember what Momma said, "If you can't say anything nice…" We can all help by staying positive and ignoring the background noise.

Now to get back to those brakes. mechanic

Yeah, what all of the above have said.

People do not come here to hear seemingly sarcastic things. It is difficult to ascertain the tone of a remark when you can not see the facial expression of the person making the post.

So please "Play nice" or keep silent.

Have noted similar remarks over the last several months.....think some newer members have taken the "RVNet.com" approach too strongly!
It is still a great resource....but....petty opinions should be kept to oneself
Sorry...couldn't help but respond

Cheers, Neil
