Need your help. What is the outside height for a "typical" Regal from the 80's? I tried searching the site and had no luck finding the information? Information from a brochure would be acceptable.

My '85 Regal, 454, is 10' 6" to the top of the airconditioner. However, my front springs are sagging and the ride height is about 2" too low. When I'm looking for overhead height restrictions, I'll use 11' as my minimum. BTW, tires are 19 1/2"ers.

With the satellite dome and the raised floor of the post-'93 28' Breakaways, mine is 12'6" (measured).

One thing I've found odd is that in the northeast (at least NJ, PA, and NY), US highways sometimes don't accommodate taller vehicles. I encountered a 10'6" railroad underpass in PA and one 9'6" in NJ. Fortunately, both were marked well in advance, and there were alternate routes.

Rusty,
Great point. we should all probably know the height for our rig. Eventually, we will need that information.

Jim,
My coach is very similar to yours. Only addition I have is a gear box on top. I'll need to actually measure it to be certain.

Thanks again.
