Wow they just showed Mankato MN white out road conditions on the local news. Keeps the champagne cold.

In 1948 I remember asking my mother how old I would in 2000. I never thought to ask how old I would be in 2020, now I'm unable to do the math.
Happy New Year to all.

After the first brown Christmas in many years, Kalkaska got 16 inches of snow since yesterday. The lake effect machine is still going strong!

Here in Florida it was 75 but will be low 50's tonight. We had a party at the clubhouse and lots of retired people are having a good time. Life is good.

To all the Barthmobile family, take care and be well!

Tim I'm with you there. 2000 seemed to be impossible. For years I told people I'd be dead by 50. Lynn had a surprise party for me. When I got home from work and found my friends in the yard. When I walked up they in unison said "Surprise you are here!"

2020? Where is my flying car? Flying BARTH? No potholes, no replacing little worn tires? Weren't we supposed to be fueled by air or something new, clean, cheap?

2020

Better than my elementary school teacher. According to her 2000 was the end. No more oil, no more electricity, all poluted ... and the return of the ice age. I would be as old as my aunt Eeker
Never thought of 2020.

Funny thing, I've never thought about whether I'd make it to 2020 or any other milestone. I was too busy trying to make to the end of the day Cool.
