It is legal in Mass and the primary reason we from NH call them Mass*oles.

I doubt there's any universal traffic law between all three of those countries. Wink

In the U.S. every state has its own rules. I don't think there is any restriction against passing on the right in IL. I assume you are talking about an interstate where there are 2 lanes to travel your particular direction. IL does have a new law against driving in the left (passing) lane for more than 1/2 mile, if you are not actually passing someone.

Excellent!!! Thumbs Up

I constantly have to tell my wife to move over if she's not passing anyone. Mad

I'm not into a "Big Government" type mentality but I can truly support that one!!! Cool

It must be legal in Florida unless posted as I do see signs on the highways saying "Slower Traffic Keep In Right Lane". These signs are ignored , of course. I like to see the Blue Hairs merging straight across the three lanes to get to the left, no sign of looking to see who they are cutting off, usually doing half the average speed and maintaining.

In the UK when I drive, you can get away with cruise control even on busy highways. People respect that faster traffic deserves a yield by moving over. I soon realize that Europeans actually use those devices that are stuck to the door and windshield....ummm...what are they called.....yes, mirrors!!!

If only Cadillac had a "Death Ray" blinker that cleared all object in its path. What a hit that would be down here!

Could work for backing up too, who needs a beeper the driver can't hear? Back up death rays are much better.
