4th New England GTG 8/6/2010

Hi Barthmobilers,

We're booked again for this summer at the Oak Haven Camground in the large safari field (same as last year). There are some full hook ups if you need them.

http://oakhavencampground.com/

The dates are August 6, 7, &8. You need to book directly with the campground and let them know you are with the Barth group. We have three Barth families booked already.

First GTG 2007

No group pic's of 2nd and 3rd GTG - sorry

See you there

I have to say, things sure don't change much from year to year up there! Roll Eyes

Bill G, good luck with this year, hope the weather and food are equally excellent.

I'm planning to come - the Rockland Astronomy Club has its annual star party about 72 miles from there near Savoy, MA, starting Sunday.

Glad to see you can make it again this year. Your knowledge of Barth and other interesting things add significantly to our gatherings.

See you in August.

There is an outside chance the we may be in the area. We are heading to NewFoundland and the time may allow us to stop on the way there. From AZ to NF. Can't get much futher apart then that.

Hi Folks,

Well the summer camping season is in full swing here in New England. I want to take the time to remind everyone about the upcoming Barth GTG in Wales, MA at the Oak Haven campground on August 6th, 7th, and 8th. http://oakhavencampground.com/

At this time we have Bill G, Rick Muise, Rusty, Don in Niagra and possibly Gary Carter attending.

For those interested, there are a few full hook-ups available in the area of the safari field where we will be camping. If you want one, mention it when you call to make your reservation. This year's rates are between $30 and $35/night.

We do a pot-luck supper on Saturday evening and I'll be doing breakfast on Saturday morning with blueberry pancakes, sausage/bacon and fruit. Coffee and juice will also be served.

Weather permitting, we will have a campfire both Friday and Saturday nights.

Saturday afternoon we have cocktails and snacks.

Hope to see you there. If anyone has questions, call me at 413-348-7770.

Bill G

Bill, we will be there too. We made our reservations for this year the day we left your gtg last August. We are in site 11, Mcleod Field. Same spot as last year.
Will bring Canadian beer! What else would you like for the pot-luck?
See you then.

Don,

Georgene reminded me about you folks last night when I told her about the post. I'm sorry, forgetting comes with the territory these days. I have updated my previous post.

It will be good to see you again. I'm really looking forward to the GTG this year.

Sorry but not able to make the MS rally. We are a week ahead of time and don't know what to do for the week, so going on the Newfoundland without stopping. Was looking forward to it.
