Sherrie was told a while back that she would be traveling for work during the GTG. Sometimes her travel plans change, and we've been hoping for that. She got her travel orders last week, so she is going to be gone.

We were planning to keep going after the GTG and make a lap around FL for our 20th anniversary, so this is a double bummer for us.

For the last four years we have looked forward to the FL GTG all year long. it's become part of our Christmastime tradition, and we're really going to miss seeing everyone.
I have not canceled my reservation yet. If anyone would like to go or get a better spot, let me know. I'll hold on to it as long as i can.

I have been pretty excited about the t-shirt design, but I didn't want to post anything until i knew what we were doing.
It's a 4 color design featuring Lee's classic Barth.
It looks like I'll be shipping them to the campground for folks at the GTG. I called the park, and they are cool with shipping them there. If you are not going to the GTG but would like a shirt, I'll mail one to you.
Shirts will be available for order until Monday, Dec. 1st at noon.

Sorry to hear your not coming but I know how plans can change. Great shirts, just ordered ours.

It doesn't have to be a GTG if you get a chance to come down sometime this winter. I am sure there are enough of us with driveways down here to accommodate a pass around Florida.

Thanks again for the shirts!

ED.

Finally got my PC back from the comp doctor [again]. Sad to see so many cancellations, but those of us who make it will have fun. The shirts are great, we'll take a couple for sure, I'll let you know after Suzie sees them.

This year will be a smaller GTG than the past, and I know we'll have fun, but I think the gift exchange will be put on hold this year if everyone agrees. Of course if you have something special for me, that's OK. Big Grin

It is off topic, but Keirn and Carolyn, are you living a double life on the WOG page?
I would like to compliment Carolyn on her beautiful pastoral pictures she is painting.
Plus if I would have known about your SP36 - oh well too late now.

Our closest friends daughter past away yesterday in Denver so it looks like we will miss the GTG and be heading out there. We will know more this morning. The spots are paid for and too late to cancel ours so use them.

Next time

God willing and the creek don't rise, I will own a '87 Barth Regal tomorrow. I am hoping to drive it over and meet you guys. In addition to my quest for amiable camaraderie, I am hoping someone can show me the ropes of Barth motorhome living, as I am clueless. If a spot is available I might attempt an overnight stay, but not sure at this point.

Congratulations on the new coach. That will be a great place to pick up info on your new Barth. I just cancelled my reservation last night, so my spot beside Rusty might still be available.
