Duane, I am so sorry to hear about Rory. It is such a loss when our dear friends leave us. Such a big hole they leave in our hearts. I am also sorry to hear that you won't be making it to the gtg. We will see you at other gtg's. Also, Steve and Liz, we will miss you guys. We always based the gtg around the boat launch. We have always enjoyed seeing pictures of your father and the launch. I am so glad we witnessed it (by means of pictures). It was always enjoyable and getting together with you guys has always been a blast. we will see you later, somewhere, sometime. Stay safe.
Kenny

The Butts are currently in the smoker. The first step is started.

The bar is stocked.

The temperature is supposed to be wonderful. Not a blast furnace heat like last year.

Look forward to seeing everyone.

Of all the reasons to miss the GTG, that one is the worst. So sorry to hear of your friend. Frowner

Dads boat is in the water and the flurry of packing, sorting and moving the household continues. Several truckloads to the dump, many boxes packed for the siblings and many more for donation.

The boathouse is pretty well sorted but the polebarn shop has a long way to go. It has been very busy here now since Friday. I will miss seeing you all, it would be nice to relax and enjoy the fine company. Oh well, duty calls.

Kenny, I hope to see you again soon. For all those on the way take care and be safe.

1st to arrive. Minnesnowta has a bumper crop of mosquitos. Good thing I brought my screen gazebo. Just waiting for others to get here to sett for optimal efficance.

Rivers high. Don’t think we will be skinny dippin!

Great GTG Wally and Connie, Kenny and Kazy, Lynn and I. Mosquito were bad but the weather was great. My screen Gazebo was a lifesaver.

We had fun as always. We would have enjoyed seeing you all. Life happens and hopefully next year we can try again. We will be more flexible on timing with the Boat launch no longer in the mix.

Here’s to a successful 2023. Here is what will help. Market up, Fuel Down, Health to all.

I think you guys had more fun than we did. Launched the boat on Saturday as usual, spent the next days sorting out Dad's house, shop and boathouse. Much progress but still lots to do. There will be several more trips soon. Down to one sister by Thursday, we could have gone home Thursday but stayed until Friday morning. Brought back the first of the loads from Dad's shop.

I really miss the MN group and I will try to attend next time. I don't miss the skeeters! UP had a bumper crop, thick as I have seen. We were covered all week.

Now back to my many unfinished projects. Gauges to finish and I ordered a 48 x 18 double pane window for the back wall. I have insulation work to do as well. Mechanic
