We have been to the RV Museum at both previous GTGs and really enjoyed it. I'm sure we'll go again, there is a Spartan trailer there that Sherrie is in love with.

In the next few weeks I will be trying to contact people who have signed up but are not frequent site visitors, to confirm if they can make it.

I will also try to contact others who have not signed up but may need reminding...
Lee (and sons), Charlie and Angi, Morris and Candy, Kenny Jorgenson, DustyJeeper, Bruce and Kathleen, Tom and Jillene to name a few. If you know anyone who hasn't signed up, tell them to git er done!

Thanks, no big deal really. I'm glad to be able to help make this happen. I really enjoyed last time and did not help much then. cheers

I have many helpers, Lou is doing PR, Bill with T shirts, etc. The help with food, wine, cheese will make this a great event. I will update our list as soon as I get any more feedback on attendance.

When I get back from Florida I may start a thread to encourage folks to think about the swap meet and auction events. I have a few items for gas rigs that I will bring. (I still have an official used Barth crankshaft, would make a fine boat anchor...) ROTFLMAO

Thanks to all who have signed up and plan to attend. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Thumbs Up

Stinky, you need to show a tee shirt modeled by a 'slightly' overweight, considerably out of shape, senior citizen, ---you know just for the sake of honesty in advertising.

I haven't seen any info on the pricing of sites.
From what I understand, we should call the fairgrounds and make reservations, then determine site with Steve VW. And if we are a maybe, we should tell Steve now. Is this correct?
Do I need to call fairground to get pricing?

Thanks

Actually I should have checked for prices already. When I made the last site requests they didn't have 2014 prices. Sorry

They don't assign sites but if you call to let them know you're coming we can keep a running number that is somewhere close. Food plans also depend on the number of participants but that doesn't matter till last minute.

We already have a block of sites reserved and I just assign them in numerical order when I get the request from you. It is informal, you just check in when you get there. If you are planning extra nights you should let Beverly know about that, we are only blocked in 5/29 to 6/1.

If you do call about rates, let us know. Thumbs Up

May not be too late to ask for a Barth discount since we have so many coaches.

We are a small group for them.

They have 349 sites and several times a year they have rallies that use the whole place! confusion
When I called over a year ago to reserve sites, everything in June was already booked. They are busy all the time. The weekend we got was the only one open till August!

They are very good about letting us reserve site blocks without paying ahead. Thumbs Up

Might be fun to have a workshop at the rally to explain the function of all the relays and solenoids in the electrical compartment. I would find that very useful!
