It's official! Milford III 5/29-6/1/2014
It's official! The 5/29-6/1/2014 Milford GTG will be held at:

Elkhart County Fair Grounds
17746-D CR 34
Goshen, IN 46528
Phone 574-533-3247 (Beverly)
Fax 574-534-3743

As the new wagonmaster-in training, I talked to Beverly today and reserved sites 401-440 for Thursday May 29, 2014 to Sunday June 1, 2014. These are the sites where we were in 2012. There are 3 rows, 2 of 10 sites each and 1 of 9 sites, plus a block of 11 more adjacent sites. (I tried for dates in June but the place is already booked solid until late August!)

No deposit is required to make a reservation. They will not assign specific site numbers. Just tell them you are with the Barth Group. Then let us know which site you would like and it will earmarked for you.

It was suggested that we keep a central site for the common dining and campfire area. I have reserved site 420 for common use.

IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ARRIVE EARLIER OR STAY LATER, BE SURE TO LET BEVERLY KNOW TO RESERVE ADDITIONAL DAYS.

My reservation has been made from Thursday May 29 till Monday June 2. I'm going for site 408! Thumbs Up

Now let's see how quickly the rest of you can reserve the other 38 sites! This should be the largest Barth GTG of all time to celebrate 50 years of Barthmobiling. Sign up soon and let's try for more sites and 50 Barths! cheers

Get out those calendars and reserve these dates!

We should plan ahead for another Barth auction, maybe a keg? a pig roast? Some mention was made for owner show and tell sessions (polishing Barths, brake jobs/bleeding tips, air systems, etc) for those interested. mechanic

Let us know and let's root out all those Barths hiding out there to get a good turnout.

Let us remind you, it is NOT necessary to own a Barth to attend. You will be welcome no matter your choice of coach.

And the Wagonmaster (SteveVW) is in charge of allocating sites, so make sure you PM him with your selection and dates.

BTW, the countdown clock for Milford III won't start until after the Dec FL GTG. I'm trying to use the clock for the "next" GTG. After Black Hills comes Branson, unless a NE GTG materializes.

To make it easier for the Sat. lunch with the Barth folks I would like to be in the spot next to it for the grills. If the crowd is going to be larger then a site at the south corner may work out better or maybe we need 2 sites as is was quite full for the lunch and the auction. Nick, Rusty, & Lou you may want to chime in on this.cheers All who wander are not lost.
