Where firewood is concerned, I have a bunch of finished oak molding; I suspect that, being finished lumber, those would be OK to bring to burn.

I'm in Site 19, Weds 4/3 to Mon 4/8. The firewood is 2-3' sections of unfinished oak molding an old customer gave me for: Firewood. I used some for wainscotting and chair rails. The rest is surplus.

Finally got to talk to the "BOSS" at the campground about the firewood. I explained that we would go broke trying to keep a fire going each night and he agreed. He has no problem with us ordering wood from someone in the area and having it delivered to a site. I asked if he knew of anyone and he said Ronnie from Red Bank but he did not have a phone #, also checked craigslist and there are plenty of folks that will deliver. Will try to find the phone # for Ronnie. Price seems to run about 50/55 dollars for a rick.

Will let you know what I find out. Smiler Tooling Along

I'll bring the oak trim - it shouldn't be classed as "firewood"

We live 3 miles from The Lost Sea. Been there twice in 10 years. Pretty awesome. My son in law took his 6 1/2 yr old son to the 3 hour private spelunking adventure that is much more difficult than what we did. Said it was awesome. Would like to do something in the spelunking category. Anyone else for an adventure!? Go Carts are a given. Does anyone play golf?

Mary Ray=We live an hour & a half from the campground, want me to try to find something in the firewood category?

See if you can find someone to deliver to campground, I looked on craigslist and there are some that will deliver to campground for about 50/60 dollars a truck load, that should be plenty.
