Hey Sloop.....We'll have plenty with us but not sure it will last 'til Saturday noon! And I just might seed the Hudsonville's with some Sherman just to whet your appetite.

The seafood situation will go critical at home if it has not already done so. Helen and I were already considering an alternative dish, perhaps smoked sausage jambalaya, we will figure something out. The whole blow out and subsequent spill is bad news for us immediately and eventually the whole nation. Pray for the families of the fallen, the local attorneys are advertising specifically to the victims families; sad, sad, sad....

We would like to bring a spiral cut ham but it will not fit into our oven. Does anyone have an oven/convection thing that could warm a 9 lb ham for about 2 hrs at 250°F or maybe a gas grill? Or should we just stick with the smokies in a blanket?

Thank you Tom and Nancy, we will bring a spiral ham then and the little smokies too (they fit in our little oven). I (Doris) sometimes get carried away with cooking ideas, but not everything is doable in a smaller space.

#457 it is. Will you and your brother be there? Isn't TJ an abbreviation of both your names or something?

It'll be my wife and myself. The TJ is an abreviation of our names. With so many other Tom's around I figured it might get confusing adding another one to the mix.
