Paul and I are unable to attend the Hillsborough River GTG due to Poison Ivy's (formerly The Toy) mechanical and structural maladies. We hope to have the safety issues addressed and repaired in time to salvage some of our plans for this winter and early spring forays into the Alabama State and National parks. We have cancelled our reservation for site 51C if anyone needs a space.

Both of us are very disappointed that we won't get to meet you guys until the Milford GTG BUT we will hopefully addressed and repaired the problems that make our new Breakaway unsafe and unsound.

Looking forward to meeting all of you.

Ann Stacy

Deb and I will be bringing some Stone Crab and oysters again this year. The crab are scarce but should be able to get some for our northern visitors. Danny, bring your cracker.

Years ago I participated in State of Florida research on Stone Crabs, and Rock Shrimp. This consisted of many weekends of creating, testing, and consuming recipes for them. You're welcome! Big Grin

From what I've heard, the local crabbers are only getting enough for the restaurants, but I'll check again. Doug will be bringing the smoker again this year so I'll smoke a butt for pulled pork.

I'm beginning to wonder if somebody doesn't want me in Florida... How come every time I say "I'm heading to Florida," I have to shovel the Barth...

It was 15 degrees out there today... lake effect snow, more on the way.

This is getting ridiculous. I mean yeah maybe February but mid November? head bang

(I'll show 'em... next time I'll go in July, d@##!t.)

I was going to crawl around and check a few things before I left. Yeah right. At this point I would prefer working under anywhere else that's warm. If you see me broken down, sweating in Georgia and still smiling you'll know why! mechanic Thumbs Up

God forbid you break down at all, Steve.
But, if you need anything in South Central Michigan, just give me a call.

Steve, do you go down I 75 on your way south? If so, we're just south of Knoxville. Have absolutely no technical expertise but plenty of hospitality and vodka(Titos). cheers

Steve, If you have time to stop coming thru Dayton let me know. Just got the doors opened on new business a few months ago. 4 doors up and on the opposite side of the street from where you stopped by at the earlier this year. If you want a short break to stretch your legs let me know.
Craig.
