Many new Barth owners and many new to GTG's thanks to the Choo Choo event. This years Florida event will be the weekend of December 6, 2013. For the new folks, you have to make your own reservations through Reserve America.
http://www.reserveamerica.com/...ode=FL&parkId=281037
It's really not too hard. Suzy and I will be in site 36. 37 is a tent only site that we reserve as campfire central. As of now all the nearby sites are available. You should reserve as early as possible, but if you want a site but don't want to reserve just yet, post your preference here so others won't reserve it.
This is a laid back weekend event, with a dinner in the pavillion on Saturday evening. Feel free to post what you can contribute.
Things to do include hiking, canoe rentals, great bicycling, and a tram to an old fort.
Hope to see all the old friends and some new faces and coaches. Any questions may be asked here, and one of us will help you out.
Perhaps Rusty can post the hand drawn map of the campsite, as it is much more accurate. When choosing a site, make sure to check max lengths, as some sites are limited.

Steve, Rusty usually takes 35 so 34 would be a good choice. Nice and deep and flat, plenty of room for the trailer.

I'm in #35, Weds 12/4 to Mon 12/9. Now my question is, will I be driving 145 miles from here, or 438 miles from DAV?

Here's the map; there are two tight places in the park, the entrance columns (width) and a turn near where our group stays.

Sites are spacious both in length and width, but E/W connections are at the very back. There are no sewer connections, but there are 2 dump stations near the exit road.

Steve, Carl has dibs on 34, so 38 would be good for you. Doug will probably move back to 43.
Also, 51 C is a drive through paved site.
The tight spots Rusty mentioned are navigable, just require a little care.

Rusty:

Turns out that I have just acquired a new attachment for the BARBI that holds 20 bacon wraped, pork and cheeze stuffed Jalapenos in a verticle position for precision cooking.

We will pick up a sack of oysters so Danny and I can practice speed shucking.
