Dana, you have to be careful what you say.The correct terminology for the casino "bouncer" should be female security guard. I am looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

Hi everyone,

Sorry about the long absence and missing out on all the great conversations.

The transmission leak ended up at both Cummins and the Allison Dealer. Allison's tranny shop took a fiscally conservative approach (fully appreciated by me) and replaced a dummy plug on the opposite side of the dipstick they said was the usual culprit. They thought that would take care of it and told me to bring it back if it didn't. Unfortunately, Tonka is still dripping a little Transynd when sitting and that needs to be resolved.

My project bids finally came in the first of August and we finally got a little time to dewinterize and sanitize the water system last weekend.

I took Thursday and Friday off to take care of some other deferred maintenance on the car, Tonka, the house and myself but ended up with the Mrs. in the ER on Thursday and the cat in the ER at the Vet on Friday.

For a while it looked like another no go, but old wives are made of some seriously tough stuff. We should be there Tuesday early afternoon. She'll be hobbling and not up to significant walks or very many trips up and down the steps but is excited to meet everyone.

We'll find out about our feline family member tomorrow and are really hoping the cat has at least a couple of her nine lives remaining.

Thanks and see you soon,
Wally

We ain't there yet but we're trying. Left home Saturday morning and drove about 425 miles to Tenn-Ky border and spent the night. Today we drove up to the MO-IA border, another 425 mile day. But we are only about 350 miles from Welch, MN. Donna wants to drive up to about 250 tomorrow and goof off for the afternoon then short drive to the GTG Tues morning.

Rusty no snow and we don't even have any snowsquitos! I pulled in the park and didn't make it 2 Barth lengths before someone flags me down and says "what is a Barth?" I've never seen one and there are like 4 of you here.
