Well, unfortunately I will not be able to make this MI GTG! As shown I am into an inframe engine overhaul. Cylinder #3 broke a Ring and was very low compression. At 330K miles and very hard running for the last 15 years, this engine deserves some love.

After this overhaul is complete with some mods, I will have a 350 HP smoke free engine that could outlive me! I should be back running in 30-45 days, these days parts are in short supply, working on it.

Have fun and enjoy, hope to see y'all in Florida this fall/winter.

Just got back from Orchard Beach GTG. Another good time with Barth folks, some new and some veterans. We had excellent weather; clear, sunny and only about 80, very pleasant.

Another example of Michigan's tourism push, "Say yes to Michigan" (but you can't get there from here!) Main N/S highway US131 being repaved, waited for 20 minutes at flagman for paving work. Then the main E/W highway M55 is closed for bridge repair about 10 miles from Manistee! Detour all over, finally arrived 45 min after we expected. (Took a different route home, discovered the other main E/W highway M115 is also closed for bridge work, more detours!) head bang

Highway rant aside, our 90 mile trip was about the shortest anyone had to drive. We had a good time. Special thanks to Lou and Barb for gettig the whole thing started. Thumbs Up

Some arrived Monday, and by Tuesday afternoon, we had all parties present.

Liz and I
