Sept. 19th through 23rd has been officially declared as Mary Ray Day at Tom Sawyer Park in West Memphis, Ark.

It is a nice park on the bank of the Mighty Mississippi River. I you want a front row space I suggest you call Monday morning after 10 am as the front row spaces go fast.

The Mississippi is in flood up here in Iowa right now, hope it all clears by September.

If you are in a motor home front row is nice because there is nothing to block your view of the river. I will post a link to the park so you can see what I am talking about.

Duane check this out. Sites 66 through 76 is where most of us choose, I get 76 because it is short and so is my trailer. I am going to try to bring either my trailer or my 1975 motor home.

All locks and dams of the MS and IL are set for minimum flow, only the Mo is a question but it is a minor contributor generally. The Ohio Valley seems happy in the near future so Mother Nature seems to be in sync with MR as she should.
