A number of people have asked about going back to Milford for a GTG in 2012. How about June when the kids are out of school? Same place at the fairgrounds? I'll make the calls and set it up it everyone is interested. Might be fun to do the former employee gathering again. What I need from you is input and ideas.

I would very much like to return to Milford next year. The fairgrounds is fine and I like the idea of inviting the Barth employees.

I will help with any thing you need me to do.

Count Barb and I "in", Nick. We may even have our Barth by then!

I've saved the Barth employee contact information if you need it.

Seems like a great idea to me, so long as it would not take place during the first few days of June. Then we will just be returning from MINIs On The Dragon 2012. The Milford location is SOOOOO much more convenient than LA for me and Linda Sue. It will give me an excuse to go to one of the S. Bend area pancakes houses that serve baked german pancakes mmmm mm.

Elkhart County Fair Grounds
17746-D CR 34
Goshen, IN 46528
Phone 574-533-3247
Fax 574-534-3743

I talked to Tanya Swihart today and reserved sites 401-429 for Thursday June 14, 2012 to Sunday June 17, 2012. These are the sites jsut behind where we were in 2010. This is 3 rows, 2 of 10 sites each and 1 of 9 sites. The current rates are $28.89 per night or $165.85 weekly. Prices include all fees and taxes. No deposit is required to make a reservation. They will not assign specific site numbers. Just tell them you are with the Barth Group. Then let Bill or myself know which site you would like and it will be saved for you.

My reservation has been made for the week from Monday June 11 til Monday June 18.

Now let's see how quickly the rest of you can reserve the other 28 sites.

Reservations are made for a one-week stay. With all the potential Barth folk attending this GTG we are in negotiations with Hudsonville Ice Cream Factory to open a branch in the Land of Goshen. The Ice Cream Social is ours!
