This was a tough decision to make.
Taken from Tom Sawyer site

"The critical river stage numbers are at the Memphis gauge. A sustained rise over 31 feet on the Memphis gauge will close Tom Sawyer’s for as long as the river is out of its banks plus a number of days (or weeks) for drying out and cleaning up. Please bear with us. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by such an unpredictable disruption but the proximity to the Mississippi River of our location is worth it."

If we wait until the last minute there will be no alternative sites available. I was lucky to find these sites.

Maybe we can book Tom Sawyer for later this summer.

Too many "ifs" for Tom Sawyer - current NOAA predictions show Tom Sawyer will have been under water for two weeks (it hasn't even crested yet), with 5/22 the earliest for draining. I'm not confident that the park can be restored in 3-4 days. I'm with Mary Ray - she found a site, and while it won't have the panache of TS, it's dry.

C A N C E L L E D

There have been only 6 people that have shown interest in the Agricenter so I think it would be wise to cancel both Tom Sawyer and the Agricenter and reschedule Tom Sawyer for around the first of September.

Sorry it didn't work out.
