Tennessee GTG?
What ever happened to the Tennessee GTG? Isn't it supposed to happen before the Florida GTG? Not sure I can make Tennessee, but was just wondering.

I got three responses and no volunteers to run/help set it up so if there is still interest we might start over. The events that are central to the tourism opportunity are in June and July so I would think it would be best to start planning for next year.
All we need is a tally of interest and we can start.
Just let me know and I'll do what I can from Houston.
Tom

We've done Raccoon Mountain in Chattanooga a couple of timea. Realizing that Tennessee is only about 400 miles wide how about something in the Memphis area or the other side of the state in the Dollywood area. Should be a lot to do in either area. Be glad to help out even if Barthless. Might suggest nezt May,

Somewhere close to Mary Ray. Or some where near Knoxville where a lot of interstates converge.

Memphis in May sounds great. We would sign up for that. It is more central and you may get more participation from the guys out west.

Smokeis or Mempis sound good to us in the spring(with some notice), I hate it when work gets in the way. All who wander are not lost.

Smokies, like 'em better than the flatlands Big Grin
But on a second thought I got bears in my backyard and it would be nice to see other places (ahem but NO to Memphis). How about more north - what is it called Land between Lakes - MaryRae would know.

Don't want to go to Memphis?? How about Branson Missouri? Definitely not flat there and it's very beautiful. We go there a lot. But I am still up for Memphis.

I'd like to try a May trip. A little early to commit at this time but it sounds like a good time (as usual!) Let's see if it will happen. Thumbs Up

If you are interested in Memphis area I suggest Tom Sawyer Park in West Memphis, AR. Right across the river from Memphis and you are right on the Bluff of the Mississippi river. You can sit on the bank and watch the tow boats go by.

I have been there before.

Hey my time schedule. Spring of 15 we are leaving AZ in early may. Going to stop along the gulf in TX and then some juke joints in MS. If you do Memphis will schedule accordingly.

This may turn out to be our last big journey. Grandson graduates in Late may or june in KY. Then off to VA and williamsburg one more time, New York City and then back to MN Up to Canada return to AZ late Sept or OCT.

So you have my May vote in Memphis. Beel Street here we come.
