I have no credibility...my price guess comes from knowing what other Barths (newer and bigger, older and shorter) have sold for. I also lurk on ebay, watching prices for diesel motorhomes and Class Bs (Mostly Pleasureway and Roadtrek).

Figuring a Barth is worth at least 25% more than a "comparable" SOB, and seeing what longer and newer upscale SOBs (Foretravel, Monaco, Beaver, Bluebird) are selling for, I just added $10-15K.

'93 Foretravel 40' (6V-92? 120K miles): $23,100
'92 Bluebird 39' (8V-92? 192K miles): $58,600
'93 Monaco CR 38' (Cummins 8.3L?, 164K miles): $25,500
'00 Monaco DK 40' (Cummins ISC 350HP, 116K miles): $55,930
'98 Safari Sahari 34' (Cat 3176?, 76K miles): $26,900

Rusty, I think your accurate on what is selling and for how much. Nothing is selling near NADA and the lenders have all but gave up on the Kelly Bluebook. I have gone to the big auction here in So Calif twice so far, and they have been averaging about $3k-5k below NADA wholesale. One coach I watched, sold for $38k, dealer had to move it home 1500 miles, and it sold for a little over $45, which was a little over NADA low retail. I'd be willing to go a little over low retail on this coach.

I'd also like to know how much it went for. Could you give us an idea?

Thanks,
