One should not be purchasing a 35 year old vehicle unless the also have the funds for repairs.

This is very important
Of equal importance by Mwrench something to move the rig from one campground to another.

Agree, travel, repair, fuel, storage and recreation costs all need to be considered with ownership of a RV.

So if I’m not mistaken this coach is back on the sale block! Duane is unusually quiet. Guess he is dividing his time between driving the 88 and enjoying it as well as the Nose

Duane has put a lot of work into both Coaches. Either one should be well on its way to being your new dream Coach!

Statements like that probably include 54 year old cruisers. hmm $$$

Yes 88 is still on the market!

Finished the fridge, installed a new rear air bag and shock. Keep the beer cold and ride smooth!

And yes been driving it around, quite a bit!

Actually if Ole Nose had not stole my ❤ it is a real shame to sell this coach, really even after 30 years 88 is a very nice RV, more comfortable than Nose for sure, just do not need 2 of them.

The buyer should check a different source. I paid $150 at auction for the Barth Bluesmobile in 2007, when it was 20 years old. I got a loan against it for the "book value", from a credit union. That money went to my local truck mechanic to make the problems below the floor line "go away".

Happy Financing!

I've been biting my lip so far, but you have brought up a point which has bothered me for a while. I'm sitting up in Michigan half way through a 3000 mile trip and have had no issues at all with the 78. As much as I loved our old nose after over 14 years of use, I never would have attempted this trip in it. I don't regret selling the nose one bit, because I knew I was getting something much better, and like you I couldn't keep both. I just find it a bit odd that after making the 88 as close to perfect as possible you would sell it instead of Ol Nose. I'm not criticizing and I don't know the condition of Ol Nose, I'm just throwing my 2 cents out there.
