Any interested party can research my many posts on this site throughout the years that I’ve owned this coach. I initially purchased it in 2013, sold it in 2014 and then bought it for the second time in 2016.
Is truly a “one-off” as I’m not aware of any other Breakaway XL’s with the Cummins/Gillig combo.
My family and I fulltimed in the Barth in 2017-2018. We have no future plans for anymore extended travel, and it really needs to be used instead of parked on my driveway for most of the year.
I have taken it out every three weeks or so for an “exercise run” of at least 30 miles.
I painted the back exterior panel of the Barth in 2018 due to paint deterioration from the sun. The color match was as close as the automotive paint supplier could get. I didn't make it a priority to replace the stripes. Same with the coach entry door. I had to completely disassemble it due to the wood that is attached to the steel frame had rotted, and moisture had corroded the aluminum skin. I rebuilt the door and sprayed with a close match of paint. Again, replacing the stripes was not a priority. All of the missing striping can be painted on by an automotive paint shop, or get yourself a quality gravity fed HVLP spray gun and teach yourself how to spray as I did.
I personally have performed all the maintenance on this coach during the time I’ve owned it.
