Well Steve I am sure you gave him/her a great deal and I know they ae getting a great machine. I would have bought it myself, if this ole Glassnose did not have my heart. Now you have more time to devote to the VW van!! Congratulations.

From what I am reading between the lines. Barth Vader is going to make a southern Barth out of the most documented Gasser Barth in the group and will be having his current ride up for sale soon.

Let me know if I interpreted this incorrectly. Congratulations to Both Steve on passing her along to good hands.

I drove the coach to Canton. Alan and 2 friends flew into Detroit, then met me in Canton. They gave the coach a good lookover and away it went to its new home in Texas! Thumbs Up

I had many good times with that coach, I hope he will enjoy it as much. I was flattered that he would buy it long distance and be willing to jump in for the long ride home. Happy trails, brother! Tooling Along

It looks like I'll have to update my signature line back to one Barth. (Mary Ray has assured me that membership in the Mary Ray Society remains valid since I still have owned more than one Barth... I was relieved)

Steve I am sure you will miss the Regal, but never the good times and the good times left for her in her new home.

Probably that much there for sure! head bang

It was strange to see it go and think of the seven year project moving on. I have plenty of other things to do and Alan sounds like he has things under control, so it is a good thing. Thumbs Up

Now about the Mary Ray Society... You don't HAVE to own the Barths all at once. OK to sell for sure. Can't believe DBarth has not sold. RV market is weird lately. hmm

Well then, I guess Tere and I are members of the Mary Ray Society. Our talley is
--one 28' Regal 'Old Blue' now owned by Roger Pence
--one 28' Breakaway now owned by Baby Barth
--one 30' Breakaway owned by a guy in Louisiana that was
mad because the alternator gave out in Memphis on
his way home. I've never heard from him since.
--one 28' Breakaway now owned by John McFarland
--one 19' Class C now owned by Tim Antony in Denmark.

I owned two of the breakaways at the same time--the 28'er that John McFarland has, and the 30'er that's in Louisiana.

Is there another Barth in Tere's and my future? Never say never Smiler

I'd say you have it covered Jim. ROTFLMAO

Well, I heard from Alan and they made it back to Texas. They left Detroit area Friday afternoon and went to Columbus Fri night. Yesterday evening they were south of Nashville. Must have kept going I got a text at 930 this morning and they were an hour from home. Bravo, not bad for a 1400 mile test drive I guess! Happy trails guys.

I still own all three. Once you own more than one Barth then you belong to the club. Doesn't matter if you sell it.

Man this rig has some horse power! She purrs like a kitten. We really enjoyed getting to meet Steve and his lovely wife, and had a trouble free return trip. Now it's time to get to work swapping a few things from my 28 footer and getting her sold.

I have 2 more A/Cs on the way, my 7k onan is getting a tune up and will go in soon, then it's time to get a new shower installed. I better get busy!
