Saw this one on Craigslist. It has the rear bath. It has TWO sofas up front. Normally there is a dinette on the curb side. Must have been custom ordered.

Fridge is broken on this one.
Owner hasn't tried the roof AC.

They don't seem to be a real rush selling it. I could not get pictures from them.

I have only seen one exterior picture. I don't see it for sale any longer on Craigslist. I probably would have bought it if it had the dinette. I have since seen a therapist for my addiction and cooler heads have prevailed! Cool

I did not go see it even though it was about two hours from me. I would have IF it had the dinette.

Since it is not a 1988 gasser (like the one in this thread), you might better start a new thread in FOR SALE

WELCOME, Don.
Shorties are so cool Smiler
Decades ago, the Barth's I used to recognize distinctly, on the interstate, were the shorties.
When I learned that Barth's were a well-made and expensive motor home, it seemed odd to me that the ones I often saw were smaller than typical stick n staple motorhomes.

Finally found the tag today... And surprise... It's a 1989... February of 1989 to be exact... A 1988 Chevy chassis. Go figure.

Great news! It is common for the chassis to be in the prior year to the coach. The chassis was made and then shipped to the manufacturers. I see this all the time with the Airstream and Argosy motorhomes on the Chevy P-30 chassis.

My Spartan chassis was built 2/92. The coach, the prototype for the '94-up 28's, was completed 4/93 and titled as a '94.

Hi Don,

I believe we have a sibling to your coach, except ours is the blue striped exterior paint and with the dinette, only one sofa. Chassis is an '88, but coach is registered as '89.

Welcome to the site!
