Last month, Kathy and I went to the Branson, MO KOA for the 4th annual Vintage Camper event. It has grown each year...from a few to twenty-odd, to 44 last year and 72 this year. A fun weekend. We had the only "vintage" motorhome there, but technically it is for the trailer people, so we were the interlopers. Some folks posted some pix on the Branson F/B page. There are even a couple of our rig in the bunch.

On a separate note, we are planning a trip to take the "Toaster" and motorcycle (in trailer) to ride around southeast New Mexico in a couple of weeks, going to the Petroleum Museum in Midland, TX, Carlsbad Caverns, Roswell, Alamogordo, White Sands, NM and ending up at the Trinity Site (yes, that atomic explosion place)open house on 10-3. It is only open two days a year, in April and October.

If anyone has suggestions for "don't miss" places or things while we are there, please respond. We won't have time (or reservations) on the end for the balloon festival at Albuquerque this time...that will have to be a future journey.

Thanks,
Steve

Steve, sounds like you had a good time at the Vintage Camper Event. Don't have any suggestions for your trip but have a good time and be safe and remember "we like pictures".
