On the way home from the Florida GTG we stayed at Ft. Clinch State Park in Fernandina Beach FL. It was about 30 mins off I95. They have 2 campgrounds, we stayed at the beach campground. On the way in you drive down a road covered with a canopy of trees.

Here's our Barth in site 10, which is right beside the beach access walkway.

This is the view we had from our picnic table.

If we were to stay there again it would be for more than one night.

looks great!
You were lucky to get a site. Their reservation page shows most of them booked for the foreseeable future.

I should check and see if FL is one of the states that gives a reduced rate to disabled vets.

ps
found their good website with pictures of sites. I could get by with #8 or #9, 30', 35' respectively, for my Pleasure-Way. looks like the senior discount is only for FL residents.

However, maybe my service connected disability will get me a lifetime gate pass.

looking elsewhere, I found these pages about discounts and hope they might help other members:

Baby Barth visited Ft Clinch. We stayed on the river/inlet side. More shade. Great beach walking from campground to campground or rent a bicycle at the Fort. Nice fort with time period dressed and acting guides.
