We just spent the weekend at Ft. Desoto Park near St. Pete, FL. I have lived close for over 35yrs., and this was the first visit. It's fabulous!! Waterside sites, boat ramps, and wonderful sandy beaches. Try it you'll like it.

Danny, if you have any intention of going to Ft.Desoto don't wait, go to thier website and see if you can reserve a spot!
We found one for next sunday, monday and Tuesday, when our grandkids are coming down fom N.C.. We plan to bring our boat down as we have #185 a waterfront site. This is not an undiscovered campgroud,so don't wait.
