NEW TO ALL THIS. Ground breaking venture for family of 6 (four teenagers)in a 30' Barth:
Any suggestion where I should look for an oceanfront weeklong stay in MD,VA,NC or SC?
Cost isn't a big issue, clean and amenities are.
Really appreciate your effort. Thanks.

Myrtle Beach got all kinds of entertainment and several nice campgrounds. We used to stay at Lakewood but it has been several years. There are some folks that have been more recently.
Actually that is Surfside Beach and Ocean Lakes Campground next door is nice too

Returned from week long Ocean Lakes campground. Enjoyed it very much. Beach, facilities, and people were all great. Thank you all who recommended.

I taught high school for 25 years… My hat is off to you! 4 teenagers is a handful. So nice to hear you had a good trip, family memories last a lifetime. Tooling Along

Wow, looks like we missed by a week. We have been going to Ocean Lakes for 20 years and have never seen another BARTH. We have camped in everything from a pop-up, TT, 5th wheel, "C" class motor home, "A" class Barth and have stayed in rental houses. Obviously we like the place, its great place for a family with kids.

And there were no Barth's the week prior to your stay - I searched earnestly. Just makes me all the more determined to preserve mine.
