A widebody...

He is a member here, Dan Burke, but has never posted before.

I've contacted Dan and he has agreed to get me the images of the data tag and he'll send along several more images for me to put up here. Tag# 8906-0124-34RDG B Thumbs Up

Up for auction is a 1990 Barth Regency 34' Motorcoach. This Motorhome was owned by my parents since 1992. It has a clear WI title. The current mileage on the coach is 112,024. The Motor was re-built in 2007, due to a faulty air intake tube. It is on a Gillig chassis. It is powered by a 3208 Caterpilliar turbo diesel engine. It has a 4-speed Allison transmission. The coach also has full air suspension. My parents used it for full time RVing from 1994-2008, and haven't been able to use it due to health. As far as I know, most of everything is in working order, the TV's would need . a cable connection, or a convertor box, they are not digital tv's. The other thing I know about it is the mount for the right rear leveling jack needs to be welded, the tires need to be replaced due to dry rot. The batteries were replaced in 2007-2008.

The coach is a very rare for Barth Side Isle. The Bathroom is on the side, and not split in the middle. It has Corian counters, leather captain chairs, and the couch and one chair have been re-upholstred. The carpet was replaced at one point, but I'm not sure when.

It has dual furnances, diesel generator, power invertor, and all the extra's you would expect for a $250,000 motorcoach in 1990. If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 414-687-7802, or e-mail me at burke1776@att.net. I will get an answer on any question, just let me know. It was used in southwestern states, and has not been in many WI winters.

I wish I knew a little more about it, but, like I stated earlier, please let me know if you have any other questions.

The Motorhome is sold AS-IS, AS-SHOWN. This is a 22 year old machine, but I did drive it the other day and everything seems to be good. Brakes, Steering, Etc. The coach is for sale locally, and the auction may end for local sale.

$1,000 deposit is required by Pay-Pal within a 24 hours for the winning bidder. The balance is due within 14 days of auction end, unless further arraingements are made.

I think that would fit in my driveway better than that one. Just kidding, but it looks like a nice coach.

When it comes to selling motor homes, what you want, what you have in it, what it's worth, and what you get, sometimes are all different things. Looks like your parents took very nice care of it.

I am not a cult member and it would be a cold day in hell before I drove your coach down the street anywhere. Would have been a big chunk out of my time. I learned a lesson here.

First anybody can ask any price they want. It's called free market. Second I would be very careful about driving a vehicle for anyone especially unknown. What if you have an accident and find out there is no insurance? What if you blow a $450 tire and it takes out the sides or so. What if it has an engine blow up? And he accuses you? Only in emergency I would move someones coach. D

I agree about the risks. Now, be assured I would not crank one to take any place without an insurance binder in hand, registration, or title and one way driving permit and letter from new owner holding me harmless. But, it will not happen anyway. I was just trying to help Nick, if need be.
