I can't get 31' out of those pix, and have never heard of the 6.5L with an Allison tranny.

I know this is an old thread but that unit is still around. What chassis would be under that Barth? Cannot be a Chev as GM never made a pusher. Allison??? Can someone explain to me the differences between a regular 6.5 and the military unit? Thanks

I spoke with the owner today. He really is not well versed in anything mechanical. Says that it is Spartan Chassis and is an Allison with a 6.5 rear engine. Until the engine blew it ran hot( surprise). BUT after the new engine it improved but still ran warm until it broke in. I don't buy that ! I wont pursue it any further as the price is probably double what it is worth!

It is still two years later and the owner still has not figured what Moiasheh said is true.

I cannot imagine a 35 ft. unit with a 6.5. Very underpowered. Allison 3000 are usually 5 or 6 speed. This sale could be a scam. The unit ,if as described, is not worth bapkas!

That must be from over spray.

Generally the overhead leaks would be near the top.
