No. The entire lower front, including fog lights, bumper, and "grille" moves forward at least 24" via an electric motor/gear; this body assembly fronts the generator (which moves forward as part of the assembly) and in the forward position one has complete access on either side and front of the Generator while standing "behind" the grille/bumper. The "grille" is one piece, fiberglass, attached to the top of the bumper assembly by bolts and nuts on the bottom flange; fog lights and side panels are, of course, fixed to bumper. When the assembly retracts the top of the "grille" fits snugly against the upper panel so it doesn't vibrate while driving.
The "Barth" panel above flips up; inside is the heater stuff (backside) with drain valves for heater hoses; 100psi air "quick-connect" with valve; window washer jug/pump; and a couple of automotive fuses.
