This one is about 30 miles from me.

1988 Barth Motor Home

62,xxx Miles

Interior is mint condition. Exterior could use some work, some paint faded and chipped. In running condition. Just drove it 15 miles out to storage. Would recommend a tune up before extended trips. (Fresh fuel, oil change, possibly a new set of spark plugs.) Bought approximately 2.5 years ago thinking we would use it and didn't. Used locally less than a hand full of time. No room to store it anymore. It comes with a 4 inch thick binder that came from the factory with manuals for everything in the motor home all the way down to the color codes for the paint on the exterior. Didn't use many of the accessories like the generator and toilet so I would recommend having someone who works on these check them out. (worked when we bought it, but never used.) This is definitely a handyman special, anyone with some knowledge of these could easily go through it and turn it around for a good profit. We don't use it and are sick of storing it.
If sold within the next week I will take $3,000 cash. No checks!

Please email with any questions or to set up a time to see it.
Serious inquiries only please!

This is a steal. If I was closer, I might be tempted to buy it and uhhhh, uhhh, I don't know what I'd do with it but it is a great buy....

Wow, that is a good deal. Although I have a feeling the outside is probably pretty rough, although the small digital photo doesn't really show it (they rarely do at a distance). Plan on 8 new tires too, at around $2000. Even with a couple thousand more for updates and repairs, you're still looking at $7-8k for a nice quality rig.

I'd love to take a look at this. I just don't want to waste the guy's time since my wife didn't go for the idea of his and her Barths.

Bones,
You say your close. I have emailed them to try and get more info. If they are not good about getting me more pics might I entice you to go take a look? Looks to be a gasser, tag. We will see what I hear. My sister is in Madison (70 miles) but I trust your eye because you would know what your looking at. Stay tuned we will see if I hear back.

Don't tell her "his and hers" Barths but "hers and ours".

That might work better....

Dana, I would be happy to go take a look. I could take some pix and videos if they let me.

K&E, I can't even talk my wife into learning to ride a motorcycle. I don't think she wants her own Barth either but it was worth a try.

Dang that was quick. I guess we can only hope the new owner finds BarthMobile. No Barth inspection for me. Frowner

Bones to bad we didn't see sooner. I figured when I didn't hear back it may have been gone. I was seeing a money maker and getting it the hands of someone who would know it value after swapping out a few things. He who hesitates is lost. And we didn't even get a chance to hesitate. Had the wife convinced it was a good scenario with almost no effort. Any wonder I've been married to her for 32 years.

Manual B thanks for the heads up so we don't waste any more time.
