Very little snow here now but the lake froze with about 3 inches of crystal clear ice. Very weird and spooky to walk on and see weeds, logs, fish 10 ft down on the bottom! I have never seen such clear ice in my life. Should have taken pictures.

The weather people say there is a 99% chance of white Christmas here. I've never seen it fail yet.

We had snow before Thanksgiving here in East Tennessee. Very strange. In the 20s several days in November and already in December

I was at Deals Gap Halloween night -- considerable snow, much as it was Halloween 2012 when I was there, only MORE this time. A day or two later, with the sun out, the Cherohala drive was even more spectacular than usual.

I think my calendar might be confused. Middle Georgia, December 13th high temperature last 2-3 days about 80 each day. Low at night cooling way down to the high 50s low 60s. Yard needs mowing and it's a week and a half til Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Really! It is 53 degrees here this morning! Breaking records left and right.

By this time last year we had 6 weeks of snow on the ground, a foot or so standing.

No complaints here! Thumbs Up
