Last night they got 6-7 inches of rain in the UP of MI. Roads washed out n several towns. I grew up in Houghton on Agate Street! The yellow house on the left was my house! We moved away 52 years ago, I was 12 then. Most of the houses are 110 years old or more.

You can see the ski hill on the Hancock side of the river (in the distance on the left) Spent many winter days over there as a kid.

A rare flood indeed, no previous records of any... confusion

Marleen was born a upper. Still have great friends in Houghton. They live on the east beach of the finger.
