That car may have been new to them, but it came out of Henry's factory long before the '30s.
Looks like a fenderless model "T" roadster, or maybe a "Speedster." Might have been hot-rodded, too. They had after-market speed equipment for Model "T"s. I rememmber 2 companies, "Rajo," & "Frontenac," that made cylinder heads, & maybe cams as well.

Re Rusty's picture, there are some parts of Tennessee that are not much different except for the satellite dish. Seriously, There are huge numbers of people that do not share the American Dream. 10000 showed up at the Bristol, Tennessee Fairgrounds for a free health clinic, some from Georgia and North Carolina and Kentucky. All the doctors donated their services. They do it every year. Guess this post should be on general discussions or something.
